Naming rules on Hahalolo:
Hahalolo is a community where everyone uses the name they go by in everyday life.
Your name used on Hahalolo:
- Does not contain special characters
- Does not contain Hahalolo keywords
- Does not contain acronyms or phrases that are registered by Hahalolo
- Does not contain numbers
- Full name is no longer than 5 words
- Does not contain offensive or suggestive words.
- A nickname can be used as a first name or middle name if it is a variation of the real name.
- You can also list other names on your account (for example, maiden name, nickname, professional name).
- Pretending to be anything or anyone isn’t allowed.
- The username is part of your public profile. Thus, your friends can find you on Hahalolo. It is the web address of the profile (example: Hahalolo.com/u/tom.96).
- The username is often a variation of your name, such as tom96 or tom.96. You can create your own username.
- Here are some things you can do with your username:
- Create a custom link (e.g., https://hahalolo.com/u/tom.96) to your profile so that you can share with friends or post on external websites.
- Access someone else's personal information through Hahalolo. For example, if your username is tom.96, then your friends can go to "https://hahalolo.com/u/tom.96" to view your profile and all your public information.
HOW TO CREATE A USERNAME:
- Click your profile picture thumbnail in the top right of the screen of any Hahalolo page and select Privacy & Security settings.
- In the Username section, click Edit
- Click Edit to create Username.
- Enter a new username, then click Save.
- Tap in the bottom right of Hahalolo. Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy.
- Tap Audience and visibility then select Update personal information.
- Tap + Add or in Username.
- Enter a username, then tap Save.
- Tap in the bottom right of Hahalolo. Scroll down and tap Settings & privacy.
- Tap Audience and visibility then select Update username.
- Enter a username, then tap Save.
RULES FOR CREATING A HAHALOLO USERNAME:
- Every user account has a unique username.
- Username can only contain alphanumeric characters (A – Z, 0–9) and periods (".").
- Periods can't be at the end or start of a username (e.g. invalid name: ‘.username’).
- Do not use periods (".") and capital letters to distinguish usernames (not case sensitive).
For example, johnsmith55, John.Smith55 and john.smith.55 are all considered the same username.
- Username cannot contain generic terms or extensions (.com|.net|.vn |.org|.edu|.info|.name|.gov|.biz|.us|.ws|.uk|.fr|.de|.ru|.jp|.gmail).
- Username must be a minimum of 5 characters and a maximum of 50 characters.
Possible errors you are likely to make when creating a username:
- Contain invalid characters
- Less than 5 characters
- Exceed maximum length
- Contain misplaced special characters
- Contain consecutive special characters
- Username is already taken
