Your profile is your home on Soctrip. From your profile, you can perform all basic activities on Soctrip as well as create partner accounts and Fanpages/Groups for yourself on Soctrip.
A profile of an active user on Soctrip will contain the following content:
- Timeline: Manage all your posts in a timeline
- Friends: Manage all your contacts on Soctrip including statistics list: All Friends, Following, Friend Requests, Sent Requests, Followers
- Groups: Manage all groups you own or are related to you, including: My Groups, Joined, Sent Requests, Discover
- Fanpages: Manage all fanpages you own or are associated with you, including: My Fanpages, Following, Discover
- Library: Manage image and video library
- Xu: Manage your entire Xu giving/receiving history
- About: Manage your personal information, details about yourself
Everyone who visits your Profile can see all of the public information stored above except: Your Groups, Fanpages and Xu.
How do I add or change my avatar on Soctrip?
- Access your profile as follows:
Option 1: From your News Feed, click your name or avatar icon in the top left
Option 2: From your News Feed, click your avatar icon in the top right, select View Profile
Option 3: From your News Feed, click theicon in the top right, click your name or avatar icon
- Hover over your avatar and Click the
icon in the bottom right of your current avatar
- Click Add Photo to select a photo uploaded from your device
- After selecting a photo, you can perform basic photo editing using tools to move position, crop, zoom in/out, rotate left/right, flip left/right or up/down
- Click Save to finish adding or changing your avatar.
- Access your profile in the following ways:
Option 1: On the home page interface, tap on your avatar iconnext to the Share your feelings bar
Option 2: On the home page interface, tap on the - Tap on the
- Select Add Photo to select a photo uploaded from your device
- After selecting a photo, you can perform basic photo editing with tools to move position, zoom in/out, adjust brightness/contrast/saturation, color filters, crop a photo according to ratio; then tap Save edit
- Tap Save to finish adding or changing your avatar.
For best quality, an avatar should be at least 320 pixels wide and tall.
How do I add or change my avatar frame on Soctrip?
- Go to your profile as follows:
Option 1: From your News Feed, click your name or avatar icon in the top left
Option 2: From your News Feed, click your avatar icon in the top right, select View Profile
Option 3: From your News Feed, click the - Hover over your avatar and click the
- Click Add frame
- Select a frame you want and click Use as avatar to finish adding or changing the frame.
- Go to your profile as follows:
Option 1: On the home page interface, tap on your avatar icon
Option 2: On the home page interface, tap on the - Tap on the
- Tap Add frame and select a frame you want to use
- After selecting a frame, you can zoom in/out of the frame
- Tap Save to finish adding or changing a frame.
How do I add or change my cover photo on Soctrip?
- Access your profile in the following ways:
Option 1: From your News Feed, click your name or avatar icon in the top left
Option 2: From your News Feed, click your avatar icon in the top right, select View Profile
Option 3: From your News Feed, click the - Hover over your avatar and click the
- Select Update cover to select a photo uploaded from your device
- After selecting a photo, you can perform basic photo editing using tools to move position, crop, zoom in/out, rotate left/right, flip left/right or up/down
- Click Apply to finish adding or changing your cover photo.
- Access your profile as follows:
Option 1: On the home page interface, tap on your avatar icon
Option 2: On the home page interface, tap on the - Tap on the
- Select Edit cover to select a photo uploaded from your device
- After selecting a photo, you can reposition by tapping on it and dragging it up or down.
- Tap Save to finish adding or changing your cover photo.
How do I add or edit the About section on my Soctrip profile?
On your Profile, click About. Here you can add and edit:
OVERVIEW:
- Click the
icon in the right corner of this section to add or edit the following information:
- Name: Enter your new First name and Last name if you want to change the previously created Soctrip account name.
- Username: Enter a new account name along with your link if you want to change the default name.
- Gender: Select your gender.
- Date of birth: Select your birthday. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your birthday with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Bio: Enter your biography. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your bio with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Click Save to save the updated information.
CONTACT INFO:
- Click the
- Email: Enter your email address. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your email with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Phone: Click Select area code to select your correct country area code and enter your phone number in the box next to it. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your phone number with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Current location: Click on the Select current location category to select the corresponding Country, State/Province/City, District/County/City. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your current location with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Hometown: Enter your hometown information. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your hometown with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Link: Click Add link to add links to your other personal websites.
- Click Save to save the updated information.

- Hobbies: Click the available categories to select up to 10 hobbies that suit you. You can change the privacy to choose who you want to share your hobbies with: Public, Friends, or Private.
- Click Save to save the updated information.
Go to your profile, in the management tool menu bar, scroll right to the end and tap on About to add and edit the information:
