Only when a Site enables the Allow membership registration feature can you submit a Member Request
- Visit the site you want to join.
- Click Join below the cover photo, you will find three following cases:
- You're able to become a member immediately if the Membership Approval feature is disabled.
- Your request to join will be sent immediately, but you should wait for Admin approval.
- Answer Questions and await approval: Answer all questions before sending a request to join the site. Click Send to submit your answers and wait for approval from the Admin.
You can also leave a Community Site as follows:
- Click Leave below the cover photo.
- Select Yes to confirm that you'd like to leave the Community Site.
- Click Members section, click Invite in the top right corner of the search tool.
Or on the left of the Timeline, click Invite Friends below New members.
- Enter a name in the search box if you want to invite a specific person or group of friends.
Click the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite or click Select All to invite up to 10 friends at a time from the display list.
- Click Send Invitation.
- On the Community Site, tap
in the bottom right of the cover photo and select Invite friends to join this site. - Enter your friend's name in the search box.
- Tap the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite.
- Tap Invite Friends.
- On the Community Site, tap
More under the profile picture and select Invite friends to join this site. - Enter your friend's name in the search box.
- Tap the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite.
- Tap Invite Friends.
You can review who you've sent invitations to in the Invited tab.
- In the right corner of the Timeline, click Invite friends below Invite friends to Haha this site.
- Enter a name in the search box if you want to invite a specific person or group of friends.
Click the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite or click Select All to invite up to 10 friends at a time from the display list.
- Click Send invitation.
- On the Community Site, tap in the bottom right of the cover photo and select Invite friends to Haha this site.
- Enter your friend's name in the search box.
- Tap the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite.
- Tap Invite Friends.
- On the Community Site, tap More under the profile picture and select Invite friends to Haha this site.
- Enter your friend's name in the search box.
- Tap the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite.
- Tap Send invitation.
You can review who you've sent invitations to in the Invited tab.
You'll receive a notification when a friend sends you an invitation to join/Haha a Site. You can accept or decline invitations in two ways:
- Click Accept (for invitations to join) and Haha Site (for invitations to Haha), or click Decline in the Notifications section.
- Go to the Site you're invited to join/Haha. Click Accept or Decline below its profile picture.

You'll receive a notification when a friend sends you an invitation to join/Haha a Site. You can accept or decline invitations by:
- Tapping Agree (for invitations to join) and Haha Site (for invitations to Haha), or tapping Decline in the Notifications section.
- Click See all below New members in the left corner of the Timeline or click Members on the menu bar.
- Enter a Member name and participation period (including From date and To date).
- Click Search to find, or click Reset to refresh the information.
- Tap Members on the menu bar.
- Enter a member's name in the search box.
- Tap Members on the menu bar.
- Enter a Member's name and participation period (including From date and To date).
- Tap Search to find.
This feature is currently only available for the desktop version of Hahalolo.
TO GET INTERESTED AN EVENT ON HAHALOLO:
- Click Events on a Community Site.
- Click
below the event you are interested in. - To change your response to an event, click to select a new option including Not interested and Attend.
The “Interested” option allows guests to receive event progress notifications when they don't want to or cannot attend.
TO ATTEND AN EVENT ON HAHALOLO:
- Click Events on a Community Site.
- Click
below the event you want to attend. - To change your response to an event, click to select a new option including Cancel Attendance or Interested.
Besides, you may select Accept/Decline an invitation to attend the event in the Notifications section when your friend sends it to you.
Depending on the event's privacy settings, people or Site members may find that you get interested in or attend the event even if they are not your friends.
This feature is currently only available for the desktop version of Hahalolo.
Only when the admin enables the Guest can invite friends mode in the event creation process, can guests perform this manipulation.
- Click Events on a Community Site.
- Click
Invite friends to attend the event below the event you want to invite your friends to attend. - Enter a name in the search box if you want to invite a specific person or group of friends.
Click the checkbox next to each person's name you want to invite or click Select All to invite up to 10 friends at a time from the display list.
- Click Send invitation.
Note:
You must be an event attendee to send invitations to your friends.
You can also click View guest list to know who guests of the event are, including:
- Attend: List of people who will participate in the event.
- Interested: List of people who are interested in the event.
- Invited: List of friends to whom you have sent event invitations.
To block a community site
Once you block a community site, that Site and you won't be able to interact and chat with each other. You will also unreact Haha and unfollow the Site.
- Click the profile picture thumbnail
in the top right corner of the Hahalolo page and select Privacy & Security settings. - Select Block.
- In the Block site section, enter the site name you want to block and click Block.
- The system will display a list of sites that include words similar to the name you just entered.
- Click Block next to the site name you want to block.
- Click Confirm to add to blocklist.
- Go to the community site you want to block, then tap in the bottom right of the cover photo and select Block.
- Tap Continue at the confirmation popup to Add to blocklist.
- Go to the community site you want to block, then tap More and select Block.
- Tap Block at the confirmation popup to Add to blocklist.
To unblock a community site
- Click the profile picture thumbnail in the top right corner of the Hahalolo page and select Privacy & Security settings.
- Select Block.
- From the list of sites you’ve blocked, click Unblock next to the site name you want to unblock.
- Click Confirm at the Unblock confirmation popup.
- Tap
in the bottom right of Hahalolo, scroll down and select Security & privacy. - Select Block.
- From the list of sites you’ve blocked, tap Unblock next to the site name you want to unblock.
- Tap Continue at the Unblock confirmation popup.
- Tap in the bottom right of Hahalolo, scroll down and select Security & privacy.
- Select Blocklist.
- From the list of sites you’ve blocked, tap Unblock next to the site name you want to unblock.
